  • Depression is the most common health problem for college students

  • In the 2016-2017 school year, 39% of college students affected with depression felt "so depressed it was difficult to function"

  • In 2017, 16% of college students felt depression had a negative impact on their academic performance

  • 75% of lifetime cases of mental health issues begin before the age of 24, given majority of college students are in college before the age of 24.
